THE GIANTESS OF RIGLOS

The Giantess of Riglos lives hidden in ESCALETE, behind of the MALLOS OF RIGLOS. Escalete constitutes the entrance to her dominions. It is said that the giantess was a spinner. Some people say that she supports a foot in Peñarrueba de Murillo and the other in Riglos to incline on the river that is in the middle of them with the purpose of soaking the linen. Other people affirm that she is used to seat in the summit of The Pisón, one of the MALLOS OF RIGLOS. Thus when it must wet the linen and the hemp to make her work, she does not make it with her spit but that she sometimes wets her fingers down in waters of the Gállego river. In the midle of that mallo, in effect, you can see a rock which is called, by the similarity, The Bobbin or The Pure one too.
