THE CASTLE OF THE CROSSBOW

The Tower-palace of the Crossbow began to raise about 1.083 by order of the monarch Sancho Ramírez to supervise the routes of Huesca, Luna and Ejea in that transcendental place. All the structure of the construction is in a plain on the foot of a cutting on the Gállego river. Its structure is composed of enormous walls where great vaults lean. They conform the different levels or plants of the castle. All plants are in a very good state of conservation although they have been recovered (inner sections of stairs, inner pavements, tile roof, etc).
