Puibolea is located between The Sotonera, whose municipality it belongs, and The mountain range of Gratal. It is documented from 1097.
Puibolea is based on a hill that was fortified at the medieval time and whose slopes are perforated by warehouses which are ventilated by chimneys.
Its inner city consists of a square and some lofty streets. Its parochial temple is dedicated to Our Lady of the Strap and it is a building which belongs to the century XVII.
In its municipal term we found the iberian-roman town of "Castillón", the Roman villa in "the Costerazos", the old town of Gratal and the "Salt mines", with salt water springs.
