Montmesa is a locality located in the well-known zone like The Sotonera, nearest to the dam of Tormos. It forms city council with Lupiñén and Ortilla.
Its urban set is based in the slope of a small hill perforated with warehouses, at the same way of many towns of the region.
Some constructions of century XVIII give the welcome to the nucleus of the population and they are next to the parochial temple, a romanesque work of century XII dedicated to Saint Michael Arcngel. The church has a central nave which was extended between the XVI-XVIII centuries and a tower that presents mudejar thematic and decoration. The tower belongs to the century XVII.
In its term also they can admire the hermitage of Our Lady the Turrullón, popular work of century XVII.
