BISCARRUÉS

Biscarrués is located in the Val de Ayerbe and it agglutinates documentarily in its city council to the smaller organizations of Erés and Piedramorrera, mentioning itself from 1083. They passed to be comprised within The Manor of Montearagón´s Monastery the 18 of August in 1381.

Its inner city is divided in two parts. In the high part there is the parochial temple dedicated to the Virgin of Assumption which was built in the century XVIII. It probably had to replace the old temple mentioned like Sanit Mary in capitulations of century XIII. In the low part of the village there is a seat with a source.

The hermitage of Santa Quiteria is in its term too.
